Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: MBSA Blue Pelican completed their Corporate Super Rugby (CSR) league campaign with a perfect record to set up a final against Muamalat Bullets on Oct 17.

Blue Pelican beat ATM Vanguard 27-13 for their third straight win at EV Arena Elmina in Shah Alam, earning a bonus point after scoring four tries.

Syabil Laila was named Player of the Match after leading the forward pack, while fly-half Nazreen Fitri returned to strengthen the side.

Bullets secured second place with a 53-0 win over Ragbi PDRM.

The bonus-point victory lifted them above Vanguard and sealed their fourth consecutive CSR final appearance.

Fly-half Faris Pead contributed 13 points through his kicking to earn the Player of the Match award.

Bullets, who have won two CSR titles, will now bid to end Blue Pelican's winning run.
