‘Is jumping governance?’ APM chieftain slams Makinde over stage jump

A chieftain of the Allied Peoples Movement in Oyo State, Bisi Olopoeyan, has mocked Governor Seyi Makinde over his stage-jumping demonstration at a political gathering, questioning whether the action showed his capacity to govern.

Olopoeyan made the remarks in an interview on the KMO (Knowledge Meets Opinion) programme, which was uploaded on YouTube on Friday.

He described the governor’s action as childish and questioned the relevance of the stunt to the demands of leadership.

“Okay, is it by jumping around that they run a government? Seyi Makinde, sometimes, he acts like a child,” Olopoeyan said.
