Big Brother fans rally around Yasmin after she receives 'killer' nomination

Big Brother fans were rallying around Yasmin tonight, after she received a Killer Nomination. This week has seen the housemates take part in the House of Power task, with the house being split into the Blue and Red teams.

Tonight (13 October) the Blue Team were declared the task's winners, with Samuel, Catrin, Harry, Lynx, Philip and Rochelle getting the power to choose one housemate to automatically face the public vote.

After some deliberation, Yasmin was chosen as the unlucky housemate, with Rochelle saying that she doesn't contribute anything to the house and Sam adding that she takes more than she contributes.

But viewers on X were shocked by the Blue Team's decision to make Yasmin face the public vote for the first time.

One viewer wrote: "The bright side of Yasmin being up is she’s going to hear the biggest cheers on Friday especially if she’s up against Omar."

Another added: "Yasmin better not get evicted, I don't care who else is up but YASMIN WILL STAY GADDAMMIT!" while a third wrote: "Yasmin absolutely does not deserve that. Went for the easy target, the person least likely to react badly."

Yasmin's nomination came after Big Brother called Rochelle to Diary Room over jokes she had made towards Yasmin regarding her weight.

Rochelle was told that Big Brother deemed her comments offensive and was warned not to make any more towards Yasmin, although she said she was "only messing about."

On X viewers praised Big Brother for stepping in and warning Rochelle over her behaviour.

One viewer wrote: "I’m glad Rochelle got a warning from Big Brother cause those Fat shaming jokes she thought she was saying to Yasmin were nasty and mean," while another added: "Well done Big Brother for speaking to Rochelle."

A third viewer wrote: "Just catching up with Big Brother. I’m happy to see Rochelle was called out for body-shaming Yasmin and told to stop. It’s not something to mess around with she really needs to grow up!"

Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
