Body of MAN discovered north of Johannesburg
Police in Gauteng have opened a murder investigation after the body of a man was discovered in Victory Park in Linden, north of Johannesburg.
The body was found on Thursday with visible injuries, according to police.

Circumstances unknown
Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said the circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unknown at this stage.
“The body had visible injuries, and the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this stage, pending police investigations,” Nevhuhulwi said.
Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased or provided details about how he died.
Police appeal for information
Investigators are now working to establish the circumstances leading to the man’s death and are appealing to members of the public who may have information to come forward.
