Charlie Hunnam's Sons of Anarchy spinoff gets a filming update from star Ron Perlman.
In August, it was announced that Hunnam was returning to his breakout project for a meta sequel series that would see several Sons of Anarchy cast members, including Hunnam, play fictionalized versions of themselves in a reunion that goes wrong. The meta series is titled Legends. A release date is still a long way off, but it will air on FX, the original home of SoA, and stream on Hulu.
Now, in a new interview with Deadline, Perlman shares that filming on Legends is slated to begin in March 2027. Read his quote below:
I’m trying to get Hemingway finished before we start filming Legends, which is slated to be sometime in March. I always wanted to film the Hemingway movie in January or February because it’s a little bit cooler in Havana, and after that it gets brutally hot and hard to wear prosthetics, which I obviously will do.
