Xbox Game Pass is going to sustain a massive hit on November 15 with the loss of 14 games at once in what will likely be the biggest blow the catalog takes this quarter. Removals from the subscription service aren’t uncommon, as they are actually part of the natural flow. New titles are added every month, while others are removed, maintaining a certain balance. For example, five new games have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in November, meaning that members will be given access to brand-new options in the catalog. This includes titles like Gravhounds and Warhammer Survivors.
On the downside, however, some titles are going to be removed, and they are often removed in bulk during specific periods of the month. Now, thanks to a new report by Insider Gaming, we know that Xbox Game Pass will lose a whopping 14 games on November 15. This is all part of the Wave 1 update in November, but the removal of 14 titles at once is, nonetheless, a massive blow for members. These few days leading up to November 15 will be the last chance to play some of these games for free.
This update to Xbox Game Pass in November will result in the removal of some pretty remarkable games – some of which you may want to consider playing in the two weeks before their removal. For example, among the titles being removed are Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, as well as the classic and beloved GoldenEye 007. There are games of varied genres being removed here, so you may want to check out what catches your attention the most.
The list below highlights all 14 games being removed from Xbox Game Pass in November, as per Insider Gaming:
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
- GoldenEye 007
- Football Manager 26
- Wreckfest
- Firefighting Simulator: The Squad
- Pigeon Simulator
- Police Simulator: Patrol Officers
- Moonlighter
- Great God Grive
- Total Chaos
- Barbie Horse Trailer
- 1000xResist
- Winter Burrow
- Relic Hunter Legends
What I would argue is the biggest loss is 1000xResist on Xbox Game Pass. One of the best games of 2024, this underrated indie gem is a game you can easily beat in the weeks leading up to its removal, and the experience is one you won’t soon forget. This is a narrative-led adventure game with twists and turns that will keep playing on repeat in your head. It’s one of the best games I’ve played in recent years, and I highly recommend checking it out, especially while it’s a free benefit on Game Pass.
Even though the service will lose all 14 of these games on November 15 and free access to them will end, players can still enjoy a 20% discount on each of these titles, should they find themselves interested in starting or continuing what they started. This is a great option for anyone who hasn’t finished Moonlighter or is hooked on playing the adorable Winter Burrow on Xbox Game Pass.
The removal of 14 titles at once is a big hit for members, and it’s likely not the end, as the Wave 2 updates in November will likely include more titles being removed from the service. Of course, this is offset by the gradual addition of other games to the catalog. It remains to be seen how much the service will be used by members following the release of GTA 6 on November 19, but the updates to Xbox Game Pass carry on regardless.
