Translate

Fridah Muthoni, wife of Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, has delivered a heartfelt birthday tribute to the lawmaker as he turned 37, praising his devotion as a husband and father while offering prayers for his expanding national political ambitions.

Reflecting on their marriage amid the high-stakes political environment surrounding her husband, Muthoni expressed gratitude for their family life.

Prayers for Higher Leadership

Invoking Psalm 91 for protection, Muthoni offered prayers for Owino’s political future, asking for success and divine backing as he seeks influence beyond his local constituency.

“For this new year which God has blessed you with, I pray that the favors surround you like a shield, that you will move from glory to glory… and that you will shine not just for the county of Nairobi but you will shine to the nation,” she said. “I pray that God will enlarge your capacity, enlarge your shoulders because you are not just going to carry this county, you are going to carry this country one day.”

The message comes as the two-term Embakasi East MP continues to consolidate his profile within the opposition landscape. Owino has publicly declared his intention to contest the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in the 2027 General Election.
