Jemimah Rodrigues has scored a rapid century for Mumbai Women in the Elite Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. She scored 107 from just 47 balls, which included 16 boundaries and two sixes in the first innings against Pondicherry Women.

Her innings took Mumbai to a formidable total of 213, losing just two wickets, with Pondicherry still to bat. Jemimah was supported ably by Humairaa Kaazi, who scored 82 from 57 balls, including 13 boundaries.

None of the bowlers, other than Abirame Ramamurthy, who got both the wickets for Pondicherry, were able to trouble the Mumbai batters.

Jemimah’s Mumbai side has won four out of its five matches so far, and is currently placed second in Group D.
