Does Clayface have a post-credit scene? Here's all you need to know

Translate

Clayface has hit cinemas in the UK, and DC fans have one major question. Clayface follows budding actor Matt Hagen (Tom Rhys Harries), who suffers a brutal, life-changing attack that leaves his face severely mutilated.

With his career now in tatters, Hagen turns to Dr Caitlyn Corr (Naomi Ackie) to undergo an experimental cure.

The treatment goes horribly wrong, causing Hagen's body to mutate and the skin on his face to become malleable like clay, allowing him to mimic others.

With his newfound abilities and a burning sense of revenge, Hagen begins to lose his grip on reality and his humanity on his quest for retribution.

Part of the DC universe, many viewers are keen to know whether Clayface features a post-credit scene, given most superhero films do.

But if you're heading to see the film this weekend, you don't need to stick around until the very end of the credits (unless you want to, of course) as Clayface does not contain a post-credit scene.

It comes as no surprise to those familiar with the Clayface comics, given it is a fairly standalone story in the DC universe.

Despite this, producer James Gunn has said Clayface is not the last we will see of Hagen in the DCU.

Speaking to Cinemex, he revealed: "I think one of the most fun things about creating the DCU is being able to tell stories that are very, very different from one another, in very different genres, and yet they all come together at certain points.

"And yeah, this isn't the last we'll see of Clayface. And I can't wait for you guys to see what we do with him."

Clayface is in cinemas now.
