Michelle Rodríguez Signs With CAA

EXCLUSIVE: Michelle Rodríguez has signed with CAA for representation.

Rodríguez is an American actress who beat 350 other applicants to win her first role in the 2000 independent film Girlfight, for which she won the Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Award for Best Debut Performance.

She is best known for playing Letty Ortiz in The Fast and the Furious franchise, as well as Rain Ocampo in the Resident Evil franchise. Additional notable film credits include the crime thriller S.W.A.T., James Cameron’s science fiction epic Avatar, and the action film Battle: Los Angeles.

After playing Minerva Mirabal in the biopic Trópico de Sangre, Rodríguez headlined the fan-favorite exploitation films Machete and Machete Kills, lent her voice talents to the animated comedy films Turbo and Smurfs: The Lost Village, and appeared in the heist film Widows.

On the small screen, Rodríguez played Ana Lucia Cortez in the drama television series Lost and voiced Liz Ricarro in the English-language translation of the anime Immortal Grand Prix.

Rodríguez reprised her roles in video game spin-offs of Avatar and The Fast and the Furious, and appeared in True Crime: Streets of LA, Driver 3, Halo 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
