5 Coronation Street spoilers for tonight as secret killer is revealed

Coronation Street spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode (22 September), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's Coronation Street, the truth about Rachel's death is finally revealed – and it could spell more trouble for Tim and Sally.

Meanwhile, Kit struggles to seek support at work following his breast cancer diagnosis, while Christina seems to be hiding another secret…

1. Sally's left injured as Lucy loses it

Tensions continue to simmer at the Metcalfe house, with Sally concerned that she and Tim have taken on too much by welcoming in Lucy as a foster child.

Sally is concerned when she looks at Lucy's art project, which depicts an angry woman clutching her head. When Sally questions if the woman in question is Lucy's late mum Rachel, the troubled teenager loses her temper and hurls her phone at Sally.

2. Lucy makes a cry for help

Following the earlier incident at home, Lucy reaches out to Tim for support – knowing that he'll be more sympathetic than Sally. However, Lucy is visibly jealous when Tim soon spends time with Brody, who also needs someone to talk to.

Later, once everyone else is in bed, Lucy takes a secret call from her jailed father Richie. She tells him what happened with Sally and worries that things could turn fatal – just like they did with her and Rachel! With the big reveal that a secret killer is living under Tim and Sally's roof, things aren't looking good…

3. Kit is honest with his family – but not work

Kit gathers his family and bluntly tells Gemma, Chesney and Brody that he has breast cancer. He doesn't stick around to discuss things further – much to the despair of Bernie, who knows they all need a gentler approach when they process the news.

Later, Kit loses his temper with a suspect at the police station and Lisa sends him home for the day. With Kit still unable to tell his colleagues the truth, he seems to be putting his career at risk with his desire for privacy.

4. Christina is left thoughtful

Christina is touched when George promotes her to assistant funeral director at the funeral parlour. She arranges celebratory drinks with her friends, but Bernie explains that she'll be missing the occasion following Kit's cancer news.

Later, as George comments about kids constantly causing their parents worry, Christina is thoughtful…

5. Glenda and Maggie clash again

With the Little Big Shotz social media account still suspended thanks to Maggie, a fuming Glenda accuses her of sabotage.

Maggie makes no apologies, still adamant that she's protecting the kids who are having their identities disclosed online.
