Former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali has won his case against former club Chippa United.

Jali took Chippa United to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber (PSL DRC) for the money owned to him by the club.

The midfield anchor claimed that he was at times not paid his monthly salaries as per the contract.

Furthermore, at times, he was not paid in full before deciding to leave the Gqeberha-based outfit in 2025.

Speaking to Thabiso Mosia on Radio2000, Jali’s attorney Thembelani Mpakati confirmed his client’s victory against Chippa United.

Mpakati said the PSL deducted Chippa United’s monthly grant and sent the money into their account to pay the 36-year-old.

ANDILE JALI CLAIMS VICTORY AGAINST CHIPPA UNITED

“Andile was owed money by Chippa. Sometimes when his salary was paid, it was partially paid,” confirmed Mpakati.

“These were the monies owed. The PSL DRC ruled in Jali’s favour. Today, they deducted money from the club’s grant and sent it to us, the attorneys, to pay Andile.

“We thank the PSL and the CEO for their swift response and resolution to this matter,” he added.

DOUBLE BLOW FOR CHIPPA UNITED…

The news come at a time when Chippa United are still smarting from a three-window transfer ban by FIFA.

This failing to comply with an order to settle an outstanding financial obligation to former midfielder Roland Sanou.

Chippa United had failed to meet the 5 August deadline set by FIFA, and they are now unable to strengthen their squad.
