Kacey Musgraves Reveals Middle of Nowhere Companion Album

Translate

With little warning, Kacey Musgraves has revealed the existence of an entire companion album to her new LP Middle of Nowhere. Billed as Middle of Nowhere Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes, the 16-track release consists of 11 new songs and 5 covers, including a Spanish rendition of “Uncertain, TX” from the original record. It’s out January 15 via Lost Highway. Tonight at midnight Eastern Daylight Time, Musgraves will share “Weekend in Texas” and her version of the norteño standard “Mi Tesoro.” For now, check out the cover art and tracklist below.

Middle of Nowhere was led by the single “Dry Spell” and its title track. Since its May release, Musgraves has also shared a video for “Mexico Honey.” She’s currently winding down her North American tour in support of the album, which wraps up with two shows at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on October 26 and 27.
