Japanese life-style brand studio CLIP announced a new Ranma 1/2 tableware collection on Friday. The new line will feature a ramen bowl, Chinese soup spoon, chopsticks, two-tier steamer basket, tea pot, teacup with lid, lunch mats, water bottles, plate, beer glass, and highball glass.
Along with the tableware, studio CLIP is offering these Ranma 1/2 accessories and merchandise: a P-chan (Ryōga Hibiki) cooking mitt, insulated Nekohanten delivery-box-style bag, reusable shopping bags, tissue case pouch, umbrella, hand towels, purse, pouch, tote bags, straps, stickers, cushions, and "satin kung-fu-style room shoes."
The Ranma 1/2 tableware collection, accessories, and merchandise will be available on the studio CLIP website starting on September 18. Prices for the items range from 880 yen to 4,400 yen (about US$5.80 to US$29).
Rumiko Takahashi created Ranma 1/2 in 1987 and serialized it in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine until 1996. An anime adaptation premiered in 1989, followed by three feature-length films and two original video anime sequels. An anime series remake premiered in 2024 with the main cast reprising their roles. The third season of the remake anime series is set to premiere this October.
