Asian Games 2026: India wins bronze in men’s 4x400m relay to end athletics campaign

India ended its athletics campaign at the ongoing Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with a bronze medal in the men’s 4x400m relay final on Tuesday.
The quartet of Manu T. S., Dharmveer Choudhary, Jay Kumar, and Vishal T. K. clocked 3:01.61 to finish third. Host Japan won the gold with 3:00.75, while Qatar clinched silver with 3:00.93.
This is India’s 12th medal in this event at the Asiad and second consecutive podium finish after it had won gold in Hangzhou 2023.
India ends with 24 medals in athletics, including one gold, nine silver, and 14 bronze.
