Mammootty says helping others is everyone's duty

Mammootty has spoken about compassion, charity and the responsibility of helping fellow human beings. The Malayalam superstar said charitable activities should come from personal conviction rather than external pressure.

He stressed that supporting people in need is a responsibility everyone should willingly embrace. He made the remarks at the concluding ceremony of the Parumala Church festival. The actor attended the event as a special guest and addressed the gathering. During his speech, he explained how acts of kindness reflect one's love for God. He also offered a memorable observation about divine compassion and the role human beings must play in helping others.

Mammootty says charity should come from within

Mammootty said people should not wait for someone else to instruct them before undertaking charitable activities. According to him, helping others should be a natural expression of compassion. He added that everyone has a responsibility to care for fellow human beings.“Charitable activities are not something that should be done because someone tells us to. Loving and helping our fellow human beings is everyone's responsibility.

We should do it because we genuinely feel like doing so,” Mammootty said, as reported by Reporter Website.

'God is not going to arrive in an autorickshaw'

During the speech, Mammootty spoke about the belief that God is compassionate. He explained that divine kindness should inspire people to treat others with the same generosity. The actor used an unusual autorickshaw reference to underline his point.“We believe that God is compassionate. God is not going to arrive in an autorickshaw and hand out things to everyone.

Instead, God asks us to be compassionate towards our fellow human beings by creating compassionate people. Treating others with kindness is what constitutes love for God and devotion,” he said.He further connected religious devotion with charitable contributions. Mammootty said the money offered through places of worship should ultimately support people who need assistance.“Every penny you contribute to the church and at other levels goes towards charitable activities.

Every penny offered as an act of devotion, every rupee entrusted to you by God, is meant for charitable activities,” Mammootty added.
