Ariana Madix To Star In ‘Future Housewives’ Drama In The Works At Peacock From Brannon Braga & Seth MacFarlane

Love Island USA host Ariana Madix is filling up her acting card.
Madix is to star in a drama series in development at Peacock from Brannon Braga and Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door.
Future Housewives is set in the decadent asteroid colony of New Beverly Hills, where wealthy socialites juggle bioengineered beauty regimens, ruthless rivalries and interplanetary scandals. But when a young, starry-eyed outsider unexpectedly upends their glamorous world, it exposes just how far they’ve drifted out of touch in a society evolving beyond superficiality in this sharply satirical yet surprisingly heartfelt reinvention of reality TV.
Madix plays the young, starry-eyed outsider.
Madix is best known for reality TV; she broke out in Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules before becoming host of Peacock’s biggest unscripted series. She has appeared in series including NBC’s St. Denis Medical and ABC’s Will Trent as well as Lifetime film Buying Back My Daughter and the Roger Corman-produced Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader.
She also made her Broadway debut in 2024 starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago and is currently on Broadway as Connie Francis in Just in Time.
Braga is best known for his work on the Star Trek franchise including on The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise and has worked with MacFarlane before on The Orville.
He will write and exec produces alongside Madix, MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. Virtual reality expert Jaron Lanier serves as co-exec producer. The series comes from Universal Global Television.
Future Housewives also marks the debut scripted project in development from Madix’s recently launched production house, Over Fences.
Madix is repped by Gersh, Venture Entertainment Partners and Hansen Jacobson Teller, Braga is repped by WME.
