Milan and Italy talent Alphadjo Cisse claims that he has only shown ‘70%’ of his full capabilities, despite an explosive start to the 2026-27 season with club and country.
Cisse on Milan and Italy U21 success: ‘I know I can do much better’
The 19-year-old winger was the late hero for Italy U21s in Thursday evening’s 1-0 victory away against Armenia in qualification for next year’s European Championship.

His crucial goal means that the Azzurrini are still in with a chance of topping their group and qualifying directly for the final tournament if they beat leaders Poland by two goals in their final qualifier on Monday.
It has also been a month to remember for Cisse at club level after netting on his Serie A debut in the first week of the 2026-27 season under Ruben Amorim at Milan.
He is now up to two goals from his first four league appearances of the campaign, has made his first start in the Europa League and there were suggestions from some supporters that he could or should have been included in Roberto Mancini’s senior Italy squad for the September-October international break.

Despite his rapid rise to the Milan first team, Cisse insists that he has only shown 70% of his full capabilities thus far.
“This year has brought me a lot of joy,” the teenager said in an interview with Rai Sport (via TMW).
“I’ve only shown 70% of my capabilities so far, I know I can do much better. Last night’s goal brings me a lot of happiness, and from now on I hope to be able to show lots of other characteristics.”
