#SHOWBIZ: Sweet support: Dr Fie touches hearts with glowing tribute to new husband Captain Amrul

KUALA LUMPUR: Social media personality Dr Afifah Hidayah Ahmad Tawfek, better known as Dr Fie, has thanked her new husband, Captain Amrul Nizar Anuar, for his patience and support during their wedding preparations.

Reflecting on their journey, the 36-year-old content creator praised Amrul for happily going along with her ideas and joining in her video shoots without complaining, despite the busy schedule.

"To my dearest husband, thank you for being so supportive throughout our wedding preparation journey. I know everything was quite busy, exhausting, and sometimes overwhelming," Dr Fie shared in a heartfelt post on Threads.

"But you never complained or argued with me. You simply went along with whatever my family and I planned. I truly appreciate you joining me to create content, acting as though you were already used to it. Thank you for never making me feel guilty about my work and passion."

Dr Fie also spoke about her husband's patience during long photo and video shoots after their wedding ceremony, noting how calm he stayed through endless retakes and angle changes.

She remembered one special moment when Amrul playfully twirled her dress for the camera, saying that simple gestures like that made the whole experience extra special.

"I know it wasn't easy dealing with all my antics and ideas throughout the preparation, but you made the whole journey so much sweeter," she added.

"Thank you for being my biggest supporter, my partner in all our little adventures, and now, my husband. I love you."

Dr Fie married Amrul in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends on Nov 1, after a three-month engagement.

She was previously married to singer Nubhan in August 2015, before they divorced in December 2025.

They have three children together: Aafiya Kamilia, eight, Ahmad Aaffan, six, and Afzan Nayille, three.
