India won the gold medal in the archery mixed team compound event at the Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Multipurpose Square in Nagoya on Wednesday.
The Indian team of Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav beat South Korea’s Jungyoon Park and Yonghee Choi via a shoot-off after the score was tied at 157-157 after four ends.
With the win, the Indian pair secured a place in the compound archery roster of the LA2028 Olympics.
