Dak Prescott did not need much help on Monday night. He threw three touchdown passes, Javonte Williams ran for a career-high 155 yards, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field. They are now 3-4 after a two-game slide. The Eagles dropped to 2-5, their fifth straight loss and their longest skid since 2016. Philadelphia even led in the third quarter, after a 17-play drive that chewed up more than nine minutes. Then Dallas scored 18 unanswered points. The NFC East race stays open for the Cowboys, and Philadelphia's problems keep growing.
Javonte Williams And Dak Prescott Give Dallas A Balanced Attack
The Cowboys ran the ball when they wanted to and threw it when the Eagles stacked the box. Dallas finished with a season-high 204 rushing yards and outgained Philadelphia 416-321. Williams scored from 2 yards out with 2:21 left to close the game.
Prescott threw for 212 yards. Two of his touchdowns went to CeeDee Lamb, from 9 and 16 yards. The third, a 21-yard grab by George Pickens near the sideline, kept his feet inbounds by an inch. Prescott also ran in the two-point conversion that made it 28-21. Kicker Brandon Aubrey added field goals from 55, 27 and 24 yards.

Dallas never turned the ball over. It also won its first primetime game of the year, after three tries.
Tanner McKee And The Eagles Run Out Of Answers Without Jalen Hurts
Philadelphia started fast. Saquon Barkley took his first carry in three weeks for 29 yards, then scored from 8 yards. Dameon Pierce added a 5-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.
Tanner McKee, in his fourth NFL start, threw for 211 yards. His 4-yard touchdown pass to rookie Makai Lemon was the first score of Lemon's career. After that, the offense stalled. McKee threw an interception to DeMarvion Overshown, then missed on fourth down deep in his own territory. Barkley, who is working back from a hamstring injury, carried nine times for 71 total yards and left with a back issue.
The roster is thin. Hurts is out for the season with blood clots. DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks sat out, and Lane Johnson retired earlier this year.
Ten games remain. The Nov. 10 trade deadline is two weeks away, and the Eagles' front office has some thinking to do.
