FA Cup: 80 ties drawn for second qualifying round

The draw for the second qualifying round of the 2026-27 Emirates FA Cup has been made, with 80 ties scheduled to take place across England on the weekend of Saturday, September 19.

The round features clubs from the lower levels of the English football pyramid, with several former Football League sides among those still chasing a place in the first-round proper.

This is detailed in a release on the FA website on Monday.

Bury will host Workington, while Morecambe face Southport and Macclesfield travel to Redcar Athletic.

Other notable ties include Chester’s trip to Lower Breck, Hereford’s visit to Stafford Rangers, Torquay United’s home meeting with either Basingstoke Town or AFC Stoneham, and Dagenham & Redbridge’s trip to Waltham Abbey.

Dover Athletic will host Folkestone Invicta, while Maidstone United face either Lewes or Cray Wanderers.

In other ties, AFC Totton will play Gloucester City or Mangotsfield United, Merthyr Town host Truro City, and Salisbury face Taunton Town.
