Medeama SC battled their way to a 1-0 win against Swedru All Blacks FC, maintaining their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table at the TnA stadium in Tarkwa on Matchday 10.

The Mauve and Yellow side took the lead in the 38th minute with an opener from number 19 centre forward Kingley Braye.

The goal ignited the home crowd and set the tone for the rest of the match.

Through tactical organisation, Medeama controlled the game leaving Swedru All Blacks without a way back.

The defending champions extended their impressive winning streak on home soil, remaining unbeaten in Tarkwa this season.

This victory keeps the Tarkwa-based side at the top of the table with 21 points, while Swedru All Blacks sit eighth with 14 points.

The Black Magicians must regroup and pursue a return to winning ways.

Meanwhile, Medeama remains confident in their relentless form as they aim to defend their title.
