Manchester United plummetted to another humiliating defeat in the Premier League, losing 2-0 away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The setback leaves United 16th in the league with just seven points from nine outings.
Michael Carrick’s side is now winless in nine matches with its last win coming in the UEFA Champions League against new-comer Sabah on September 11.
What is Manchester United’s longest winless run?
The longest winless run for the Old Trafford-based club came across two seasons (1929-20 and 1930-31), where the club had a barren 16-game streak.
It was spread across four games in 1929-30 and 12 games in 1930-31 before it broke the run with a victory over Birmingham City on November 1, 1930.
The spell was overseen by Herbert Bamlett as the club was relegated at the end of the season for the third time.
