Bengals star Chase 'fine' after knee injury scare
Cincinnati Bengals star Ja'Marr Chase says he is "fine" after a scare at practice Tuesday in which the wide receiver appeared to injure his knee.
Chase told ESPN 1530 Cincinnati that he suffered a "little hyperextension" to his left knee but that he could have returned to practice. The Bengals opted to remove Chase from the practice out of caution.
Chase later told reporters that he could play in a game as early as Wednesday, if necessary.
Chase landed awkwardly on a leaping attempt and immediately grabbed at his left knee before limping off the field.
But after a brief interaction with medical staff, Chase stood on the sideline with his teammates for the remainder of the practice.
Chase, 26, had 1,412 receiving yards in 2025 -- his fifth straight 1,000-yard season to start his NFL career.
