Ghosts feature film confirms screenings at the real-life Button House

Ghosts is heading home for Halloween as the real-life Button House will host three exclusive drive-in screenings of film sequel The Possession of Button House.
West Horsley Place in Surrey, a Grade I-listed manor, has doubled as the haunted home of Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe) since the BBC sitcom began in 2019.
Funding from the filming of Ghosts, and interest from fans of the show, have helped to restore the historic property, with considerable improvements being made in recent years.
The cast and crew returned to West Horsley Place for this month's highly anticipated Ghosts: The Possession of Button House, which is celebrating the release with three special events.

Screenings include two previews on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October, as well as a third coinciding with the film's general release on Friday 23 October.
It will be shown on a 40ft screen in the grounds of the 600-year-old house, with gates opening at 5:30pm and the film starting at 8pm.
Before the premiere, guests will be able to explore filming locations and see props from the new film, with mocktails, cocktails and food available from Coc Soc (The Cocktail Society).
Tickets are priced at £150 per car, with a maximum of four people per vehicle; each audience member will be loaned an individual headset for the sound.

Ilona Harris, director of the venue, said: "West Horsley Place and Ghosts have shared an extraordinary journey, so being able to welcome fans to watch the new film here at the real Button House is incredibly special."
She added: "There is something wonderfully fitting about watching a new Button House adventure with the house itself as the backdrop.
"We know how much the location means to Ghosts fans, and we're delighted to give them the chance to experience it in such a memorable way."
The manor carries a remarkable real-life story, with links to figures including King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Walter Raleigh, Guy Fawkes and Ian Fleming.
After the Duchess of Roxburghe died in 2014, her great-nephew, broadcaster Bamber Gascoigne, inherited the house and set up a charitable trust in 2015 to secure its future.
The Possession of Button House is directed by Simon Hynd and written by the show's six creators, Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond, who also star alongside Lolly Adefope, Ritchie and Smith-Bynoe.
A trailer released last month unveiled details about the high-stakes plot, including a surprising villain at the centre of it.
Ghosts: The Possession of Button House will be released in cinemas on Friday 23 October 2026.
