The vacated office of detained Senator Jinggoy Estrada was seen bare and stripped of furniture, sockets, and tiles.
The room was supposed to be taken over by Senator Vicente Sotto III who replaced Estrada as Senate President Pro Tempore.
In a video by Nimfa Ravelo of Super Radyo dzBB, the room was missing most of its floor tiles, and there was no furniture such as tables and chairs.

Also noticeable were exposed and hanging electrical wires and the removal of wall sockets throughout the office.
In a post, GMA reporter Mark Salazar said Sotto’s staff were surprised at the condition of Estrada’s office, describing it as completely unusable, with even the wall panels removed.
The office’s comfort room was also stripped of tiles from the ceiling, walls, and floor, while the shower and toilet bowl had been removed as well.
Salazar also showed the pantry, which similarly had its tiles removed and had its sink basin taken out.
According to Estrada’s office, they will issue a statement within the day to explain what happened to the senator’s office.
In June, Estrada was detained at the Quezon City jail after the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division ordered his arrest on non-bailable charges of plunder.
Since then, he has been unable to attend Senate hearings due to his ongoing detention. —AOL, GMA News
