Inter Milan (INT) has started the Serie A season well, with seven wins in eight matches. However, it had to work hard for its 2-1 win on Sunday against Fiorentina (FIO).
Inter was on top in the first half, but David de Gea made numerous important saves to keep the game goalless and give FIO a chance in the game.
15 minutes into the second half, Alex Jimenez’s long-range strike gave ‘La Viola’ a surprise lead, but like Inter has five times already this season, it came from behind to win the game.
After a long spell of pressure, Marcus Thuram got the equaliser for Inter in the 90+1 minute, as he smartly finished into the corner of the goal from inside the box. A couple of minutes later, he was fouled in the box to earn a penalty, which Piotr Zielinski converted and sent the home crowd wild.
