Bruno Fernandes reacts to Manchester United’s victory over AS Roma

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has reacted to the club’s impressive comeback victory over AS Roma, following an exciting encounter that saw the Red Devils demonstrate their fighting spirit.
The Portuguese midfielder will be pleased with his team's determination to turn the game around, as Manchester United continued to show their attacking quality and resilience. Fernandes also addressed the speculation surrounding his relationship with manager Michael Carrick.
He said,
The aim is to win every f***ng game ahead. We don't need to save anyone's job. The club needed that win. The players needed that win. It is someting we needed as a group of players and staff.
The Red Devils came back from two goals down in the first half to win the game 3-2 courtesy of a goal from Bruno Fernandes from the spot and a brace from Matheus Cunha.
He continued,
We have quality! It’s not possible what we saw last season has disappeared… we need confidence and I hope this win will help us."
He dismissed suggestions that the players were fighting to save the manager's job, insisting that the victory was important for the entire club rather than one individual. The United captain explained that there had been considerable speculation and misinformation about his relationship with Carrick.
He also accepted the manager's decision to drop him to the bench, admitting that his performances had not been good enough.
