Dawn Chang says yes to BF Ralph Calinisan’s wedding proposal

Translate

Even with wedding preparations already underway, Dawn Chang was surprised with a formal marriage proposal by her boyfriend, National Police Commission (Napolcom) Commissioner Ralph Calinisan.

Calinisan popped the question during the Saturday, Oct. 17, episode of the reality game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” where Chang served as the celebrity player.

Before the game started, show host Luis Manzano called on Calinisan to ask Chang an “important question.”

Sa totoo lang, lagi kong iniinda na we’ve been doing wedding preparations pero I’ve never gotten the chance to ask you,” Calinisan told Chang. “So pasensya na, but may gusto sana ako itanong sa’yo e.”

Calinisan then went down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me, Dawn?”to which she replied, “Yes!”

Calinisan admitted feeling “inadequate” in their relationship, saying he had been so focused on his work that he kept putting off the proposal.

Chang expressed her gratitude to Calinisan. “Thank you for finally asking me.”

Chang and Calinisan, who have been together for about five years, confirmed last February that they are set to tie the knot this December. /ra
