PM highlights role of youth in Egypt’s future development

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the government seeks to discuss various issues extensively and give thinkers, specialists and university professors an opportunity to participate, allowing different challenges, files and future visions to be presented with transparency and credibility.

Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting with Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil, as the government begins preparations for a conference called for by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, scheduled for October.

He said youth development and preparation receive significant state attention as a direct investment in the country’s future, in light of the president’s “New Beginning for Human Development” initiative.

Madbouly underscored the need to highlight the main challenges and issues facing Egyptian youth and the youth and sports sector during the conference, and to involve thinkers, intellectuals and citizens in discussing them and developing a roadmap to address them.
