The nominees for the 2026 Golden Boy Award have been announced, including Serie A talent Kerim Alajbegovic of Juventus, Roma’s Rodrigo Mora and Franco Mastantuono of Fiorentina.
The trophy is for the best young player in Europe and was organised by Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
They confirmed the list of 25 contenders this afternoon, including several Serie A representatives.
Serie A players up for award

Alajbegovic has just come to Italy for Juventus, having impressed for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as RB Salzburg.
Rodrigo Mora was a Serie A summer signing for Roma, while Mastantuono is on loan at Fiorentina from Real Madrid.
They are by no means the favourites to win the Golden Boy Award, though, as contenders include Barcelona and Spain defender Pau Cubarsí, Manchester City signing Ayyoub Bouaddi, Warren Zaire-Emery of Paris Saint-Germain and massive Real Madrid investment Yan Diomande.
