The game stayed tied until the bottom of the sixth, when Ozzie Albies tripled, scoring Michael Harris II. That lead didn’t last long as the Phillies answered in the top of the 7th. JT Realmuto hit a triple, scoring two runners.
With the Phillies up 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth, they called on Johan Duran to save the game. An infield single and a hit-by-pitch set up Austin Riley for some heroics, as he hit a three-run homer to give the Braves a 5-3 lead. That was the final score, giving Atlanta Game 1.
