Starz Networks President Alison Hoffman Re-Upped Through End Of 2029

Starz Networks President Alison Hoffman has renewed her contract through the end of 2029.

Her new employment agreement took effect August 6 and runs through December 31, 2029, parent Starz Entertainment disclosed Tuesday in an SEC filing.

Hoffman will continue to report to CEO Jeff Hirsch, annually receiving a base salary of $1.485 million as well as bonus and equity awards.

After joining Starz in 2012 from AMC, where she was a VP in the age of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, Hoffman eventually earned a promotion to chief marketing officer. In 2020, she was then upped to head of domestic networks.

Starz separated from Lionsgate in 2025 after a long strategic review process and started a new chapter as a separate publicly traded company. Now primarily a streaming programmer, the former premium cable network airs shows like the Power franchise, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, and new original Fightland. Later this year, it will premiere the third and final season of P-Valley.

Thus far, Starz has fared well as a stand-alone company, with its shares more than doubling in 2026 to date. When it reported second-quarter financials last month, Starz said it managed to increase subscriber levels despite raising prices, a combination Hirsch called “very rare” in the streaming business.

Hoffman was asked during a conference call with Wall Street analysts about the company’s recent deal with Netflix for the first four series in the Power franchise. She said the global deal “creates an opportunity for us. It’s a way for us to introduce the franchise to new audiences, new viewers. and really reinvigorate it.”
