Lotlot de Leon wishes brother Ian well despite strained relationship

Translate

Lotlot de Leon admitted that she has yet to speak with her brother Ian de Leon amid their feud, but she nonetheless extended her well wishes and hoped for him to succeed.

Lotlot and Ian previously aired statements against each other after the latter declared that he founded a one-person corporation (OPC) as the “sole heir” of their mother, the late Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor. Ian said he had informed his adoptive siblings — Lotlot, Matet, Kenneth and Kiko — about it but the actresses refuted this and claimed that Ian had been spewing lies.

Lotlot also belied accusations from some netizens that she and her adoptive siblings are after Aunor’s estate.

Lotlot opened up about the falling-out during an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Friday, Sept. 4, after show host Abunda asked, “Sa puso mo ba, naniniwala ka na maaayos lahat?”

The actress answered, “Ipinapasa-Diyos ko na lang po. In God’s time. Surrender na lang. Ayokong pangunahan ang Panginoon.”

“Basta ako, I’m focusing on my own life, sa mga anak ko, asawa ko, trabaho ko,” she continued.

She also noted that she would always be there for her siblings should they need her.

Abunda then recalled Ian’s vow to treat his siblings fairly in matters concerning Aunor’s inheritance, and asked Lotlot if the actor had lived up to that promise.

“Hindi pa po kami nagkakausap e. But whatever his plans are, I wish him well. I wish him to succeed and I wish him all the best,” Lotlot said. “Kung kailangan ako ng mga kapatid ko, I will always be here.”

While Lotlot has yet to speak with Ian, he and Matet appeared to have reconnected following their feud, with some viewing this as a possible sign of reconciliation. /ra
