Emmerdale's Sadie King is caught out by Nicola as she goes snooping

Emmerdale's Sadie King is caught out tonight following her mysterious return to the village. The shady character was seen sneaking around the house, fueling Nicola King's suspicions.

Earlier this week, Sadie made an explosive comeback to the Dales after 20 years away, claiming that she and Jimmy King had been having a secret affair. She showed a devastated Nicola evidence of their relationship, but said she was simply there to pay her respects.

In tonight's (4 September) episode, Sadie maintained her innocent demeanour as she sheepishly offered her help to Nicola. She brought the grieving widow some essentials to "tide [her] over", claiming she wanted to be "useful".

When Kev Townsend asked her to help clean the cafe, Sadie revealed that she was actually there to assist with Jimmy's funeral. Nicola declined the offer, but Sadie begged to be included in the plans.

"I'm finding it really difficult. I just wanna be a very small part of it. Please?" she said, to which Nicola reluctantly agreed.

Later, as Nicola headed home, Sadie was seen lurking nearby. A crisis at the cafe pulled Nicola away from the house, giving Sadie the perfect opportunity to sneak in.

When inside, the villain carefully snooped through the family's belongings, and appeared to find what she's looking for in a stack of letters. But when she heard Nicola returning home, she quickly shoved them back in the cupboard.

Will she be able to explain suspicious actions? And will Nicola believe her?

While it's clear Sadie is definitely up to something, a recent flashback proved that she was actually in touch with Jimmy prior to his death. Could she really have returned for the funeral, or is there another reason for her shady actions?
