Amanda Seyfried Joins Ramy Youssef’s ‘Martha & Muhammad’ At A24

EXCLUSIVE: Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried is set to star opposite Ramy Youssef and Sharon Stone in Martha & Muhammad, the new A24 comedy marking Youssef’s feature directorial debut.
Plot and character details are being kept under wraps. Youssef is directing from his own script, with his Cairo Cowboy producing alongside Eli Bush, Ronald Bronstein, and Josh Safdie for Central, Christopher Storer and Tyson Bidner for American Light & Fixture, and A24, which is financing the project.
Seyfried was recently seen starring opposite Sydney Sweeney in Lionsgate’s hit thriller The Housemaid, based on the New York Times bestseller by Freida McFadden. Last year, she also played the title role in Searchlight’s Shaker Movement musical The Testament of Ann Lee.
Seyfried most recently wrapped production on the musical feature Octet from Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda. She will next be seen opposite Scott McNairy in The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd, directed by Tim Blake Nelson. She is repped by Innovative Artists and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz.
