Michael Bublé and Property Brothers star Drew Scott have a lot in common. They’re both Canadian, they’ve been friends for decades, and they share a love of hockey. Now, the pair are giving fans a closer look at what it takes to run a team in Prime Video’s new docuseries, Hometown Giants. As part-owners of the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants, Bublé and Scott are hoping to turn things around for a team that hasn’t won a championship since 2007. The six-part series, now available to stream, follows the Giants’ 2025–26 season, taking viewers behind the scenes as the very young, up-and-coming players chase their NHL dreams while dealing with the pressure of life on and off the ice.

In an exclusive interview with Collider, Bublé and Scott open up about what the Vancouver Giants mean to them, what they’ve learned from making the series, and how fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds warned them against making the show, telling them, “Don’t do it!” Of course, there were plenty of laughs along the way, with Bublé even giving us a little Elvis Presley impression before saying goodbye.

All six episodes of Hometown Giants are now streaming on Prime Video.
