‘On the Line: The World Burger Games’: Full Day Productions Brings Five Guys Competition to Life in Prime Video Docuseries

Connor Schell’s Full Day Productions and Lost Tribe Creative just launched a new docuseries, “On The Line: The World Burger Games,” on Prime Video.

The five-episode doc follows Five Guys’ global competition of crew members from local qualifying rounds to the ultimate championship. The competition began in 2013 as an idea from the Murrell family to celebrate the franchise’s crew. Known internally as the Five Guys Games, the competition has since gone global.

“The games began as a thank you to the people who make Five Guys what it is,” Five Guys founder Jerry Murrell said. “Now, I’m watching crews from across the world compete on a brand new stage. I honestly don’t have words for it.”

The doc will feature an intimate, character-driven look at the competition at the company, which employs approximately 50,000 people. Eight finalists will compete in a series of challenges inspired by the skills required to make each and every order. The 2026 competition features three events: the potato race, the cheese race and the dressing/QC race. The first-place prize was $100,000, while second place received $50,000; each finalist walked away with at least $10,000.

“With ‘On The Line: The World Burger Games,’ we saw an opportunity to tell a story that goes far beyond competition,” Full Day Productions president David Chamberlin said. “At its heart, this series is about the people who bring Five Guys to life every day; their pride, dedication, camaraderie and the incredible culture they’ve built across the globe. We’re proud to partner with Five Guys and Lost Tribe Creative on this intimate, character-driven look at a tradition that celebrates the people behind the brand in an authentic and entertaining way.”

The series is produced by sports and entertainment studio Full Day Productions, a Words + Pictures company, in collaboration with Lost Tribe Creative. Collin Orcutt (“Any Given Saturday,” “Omnivore”) serves as showrunner.

“On the Line: The World Burger Games” is now streaming on Prime Video.
