Fifty-two drivers across 26 cars will tackle the mountain in the 1,000km endurance race.

Sunny weather forecast for Bathurst 1000

It is perfect news for drivers and teams, and more importantly, the fans.

There is virtually no chance of rain, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

So, we will not be having the wet weather chaos that befell the Great Race last year.
