The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated actor is a big get for the company, which is the fourth largest talent and literary agency in the world.

Dempsey currently stars in and executive produces the Fox series “Memory of a Killer,” which streams on Hulu. Season 2 of the drama is currently in production in Toronto, with filming expected to wrap at the end of the year.

Dempsey is, of course, best known for his portrayal of Dr. Derek Shepherd aka “McDreamy” on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” which earned him two Golden Globe nominations and a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast. Dempsey appeared in 262 episodes across 12 seasons of the medical procedural, leaving midway through Season 11 in 2014 and then coming back for a run of episodes six years later, in Season 17.

Dempsey, he himself a race car driver, also starred in Michael Mann’s biopic “Ferrari” opposite Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz, as well as Eli Roth’s “Thanksgiving.” He is also known for his romantic lead turn opposite Amy Adams in 2007’s “Enchanted,” and he reprised the role in the 2022 sequel, “Disenchanted.”

On the small screen, Dempsey recently starred as Captain Aaron Spencer in “Dexter: Original Sin.” His additional television credits include the international drama series “Devils” and the limited series “The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair.”

Dempsey first rose to prominence with “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Loverboy,” and his additional film credits include “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Made of Honor,” “Bridget Jones’s Baby,” “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Valentine’s Day,” “Freedom Writers” and “Scream 3.”

In 2023, Dempsey was bestowed the great honor of People’s Sexiest Man Alive.

He continues to be represented by attorney Mitch Smelkinson.
