Emmerdale's Beth Cordingly pays tribute to co-stars ahead of Christmas scenes

Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has paid tribute to her co-stars as the soap readies to film this year's Christmas storylines.
Cordingly, known for the role of Ruby Miligan on the ITV soap, has taken to Instagram to share her appreciation for the actors sharing the set with her, including Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley and Chas Dingle star Lucy Pargeter.
The video is a montage of behind-the-scenes selfies of Cordingly and some of the Emmerdale cast, with Patsy Kensit, who recently reprised the role of Sadie King, also making an appearance.

"Why do you love your job, again, Beth? Oh, I dunno… maybe it's because they put up with me being too much and make me feel loved anyway?" Cordingly penned in the caption.
"Or maybe it's because you walk in the door and everyone is golden."
For her part, Riley also posted a snap with Cordingly and Pargeter in a since-expired Instagram Story. The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star confirmed the soap had started filming on the Christmas episodes.
Speaking of next Christmas, Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper has teased an "epic" festive period on the Dales, with drama galore.
"We have a really dramatic autumn coming first," she told Inside Soap. "The build-up to Christmas is going to be exciting and dramatic.
"As the dark nights draw in, our drama intensifies. We have secrets, lies, temptations, betrayals – all building beautifully for that festive season."
She added: "Christmas will then be epic – that's something I can tell you. There's a really exciting, brilliant end to the year, and afterwards, a phenomenal start to 2027.
"I can promise you that Christmas is going to be a real affair on Emmerdale this year."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
