Ahaan Panday to break away from 'Saiyaara' image with 'Beparwah'; choreographer Vijay Ganguly reveals details

'Beparwah', Ahaan Panday’s upcoming film with Ali Abbas Zafar, might help him break free from the image he has carried since 'Saiyaara'. Vijay Ganguly, the choreographer on the project, offers a hint of what’s in store, suggesting that audiences will see a lighter, more playful Ahaan, complete with some dance moves.

Vijay Ganguly says Ahaan Panday is talented

Speaking to Variety India about Ahaan’s work in the film, Ganguly said, “He has done some good, fun stuff. People will see him in a very different light than what they’ve seen in ‘Saiyaara.’ Ahaan is immensely talented and having someone like him today is very refreshing for the makers and the audience.”

Ahaan Panday to dance in ‘Beparwah’

Ganguly says he is pleased with the effort Ahaan has put in and hopes it resonates with audiences. “He has done a great job. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that people like it,” he says. The choreographer also revealed that dancing will feature in the actor’s performance. “We’ve explored a little bit of dancing,” shares the choreographer. His comments indicate a change of pace for Ahaan post 'Saiyaara', as the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial lets him experiment with a new screen presence.

Ahaan Panday’s ‘Beparwah’ character still under wraps

Although details about his character and the dance sequences are still under wraps, Ganguly’s comments suggest that viewers could get to see sides of Ahaan’s performance they haven’t seen before.
