India men’s cricket team on Wednesday announced its squad to face the West Indies in a five-match T20I series, starting October 6.

Jasprit Bumrah, who was part of the T20I squad for the Asian Games, was rested and quicks Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav included in the 15-member team.

Interestingly, the series starts on October 6 in Lucknow, just three days after the conclusion of the Asian Games men’s cricket tournament on October 3.

Nitish Kumar Reddy also made it to the five-match series but the BCCI also announced that the all-rounder will be pulled out of the Asian Games squad and added to the ODI squad to face the West Indies.
