Pro-Palestine campaigners vandalise homes of British defence company bosses linked to Israel in nighttime attacks

Pro-Palestine activists have attacked the family homes of defence firm executives in a string of nighttime raids.

Police are investigating after a group called The List published images of hooded individuals vandalising cars and property belonging to figures they accuse of aiding Israel's military at several locations around the UK.

In one instance, vandals slashed a female executive's car tyres and hurled red paint across the front of her house.

At another property, they spray-painted the phrase 'baby killers' across a garage.

Counterterrorism officers are understood to be helping local forces with their investigations where criminal damage has occurred.

The group claims to have targeted half a dozen homes owned by figures who work for several defence firms - including Israeli weapons giant Elbit. In one case, the group said it targeted investors who lease land to Elbit.

The owners of Touche Ltd, which reportedly made 194 arms exports to Israel from 2023 to 2024, received a visit.

An engineer working for Leonardo, an American defence tech firm that makes laser target systems for Israel's fleet of F-35 fighter jets, had red paint spurted over two cars on their driveway.

The activists told anyone working for such companies they should 'quit your job, or risk a visit from The List'.

It said: 'Our list is long, and you know who you are.

'Through research, hacking, whistleblowers and leaks we have built up an extensive bank of addresses and personal information of those whose lives are dedicated to the genocide of the Palestinian people.'

Lord Walney, a former adviser to the government on political violence and disruption, condemned The List's new strategy as 'disturbing and inexcusable'.

He told The Times: 'The List is a sinister escalation of Palestine Action’s playbook who themselves have targeted individuals working with Elbit in the past.

'Ministers should be ready to move swiftly against this group as a Palestine Action spin-off and must not buckle to the activists claiming the group’s strategy of criminal direct action and violence is just harmless protest.'

Leonardo told the Times: 'The safety and wellbeing of our employees is an absolute priority and we are providing support to the individual affected.

'We are also assisting counterterrorism police with their ongoing investigation.'

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: 'We were called on Saturday, October 10, to a report of a criminal damage incident in Fleet.

'It was reported that red paint had been thrown across the front of the house and two car tyres had been damaged at around 3.30am. Our inquiries remain ongoing.'

It is unclear whether The List is affiliated with Palestine Action, the activist group last year proscribed by the Home Office as a terrorist organisation.

The designation came after members broke into RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and defaced two aircraft with red paint.

Palestine Action also raided an Elbit factory near Bristol in August 2024.
