Marble Hall Murders cast: Full guide to actors in BBC's adaptation
Marble Hall Murders, an adaptation of the 2025 book of the same name by Anthony Horowitz, is coming soon to BBC One.
It is the third and final book in the Susan Ryeland series by Horowitz, following the 2016 release of Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders in 2020, with both other books also receiving TV adaptations by the BBC.
The six-part series reunites Lesley Manville's Susan Ryeland with her literary detective Atticus Pünd, played by Tim McMullan.
The synopsis for Marble Hall Murders, which was filmed in Dublin, Corfu and London, says: "Editor Susan Ryeland is hired to work on a continuation novel of the Atticus Pünd series, written by a troubled young author (Blackley).
"When the job leads Susan into another murder case, she unexpectedly finds herself a suspect. In the world of the novel, Atticus Pünd is visiting the island of Corfu when he becomes embroiled in the murder of Lady Margaret Chalfont (Hodge), whose family he investigates with the assistance of a Greek detective (Varla)."

Lesley Manville
Who is Susan Ryeland? Susan is a former book editor who returns to England from Crete and gets pulled into investigating a dark family mystery.

Jamie Blackley
Who is Eliot Crace? Eliot is an aspiring writer and grandson of famous children's author Miriam Crace, who writes the new Atticus Pünd continuation novel and believes his grandmother was murdered.

Patricia Hodge
Who is Miriam Crace? Miriam is a deceased world-famous children's author.
Who is Lady Margaret Chalfont? Margaret is the wealthy owner of Chateau Belmar in the fictional narrative who summons Atticus out of retirement.

Mark Bonnar
Who is Edward Crace? Edward is Eliot's father and Miriam's son.
Who is Elmer Waysmith? Elmer is Margaret's American second husband in the fictional narrative who prioritises his art business over family. He is a prime suspect in Margaret's death.
What else has Mark Bonnar been in? Mark Bonnar is a diverse actor whose acting credits include Guilt, Shetland, Casualty, Psychoville, Line of Duty, Unforgotten, Summer of Rockets, Dept. Q, Ludwig, and the Channel 4 comedy Catastrophe. Last year he appeared as himself in the first series of Celebrity Traitors.
Harry Lloyd
Who is Roland Crace? Roland is Eliot's brother and Miriam's grandson. He helps to negotiate television and film deals for Miriam's intellectual property.
Who is Robert Waysmith? In the fictional narrative Robert is Elmer's son and manages his father's art galleries.

Zubin Varla
Who is Frederick Turner? Frederick is the manager of the Marble Hall museum and the adopted son of Miriam Crace.
