Aditya Dhar's 'Article 370' sweeps 3 national awards, director calls it 'deeply special'; Yami Gautam credits him and their son Vedavid for the win

Aditya Dhar's 'Article 370' has emerged a big winner at the 72nd National Film Awards, clinching three honours, Best Feature Film, Best Actress for Yami Gautam, and Best Music Direction (Songs). Here's how the filmmaker and the actress have expressed their feelings after winning the honours.

The 'Dhurandhar' director expressed heartfelt joy over the achievement, saying, "Some milestones leave you humbled, grateful and completely overwhelmed (sic)." Calling it a landmark moment for his production banner, he wrote, "Article 370, the very first film from B62 Studios, receiving three National Awards, is a truly extraordinary and unforgettable moment for all of us." He also thanked his collaborators, adding, "To share this beautiful and prestigious honour with my brother Lokesh Dhar, dearest Jyoti Deshpande, my beloved Yami Gautam Dhar, the musical star Shashwat, our super talented director Aditya Suhas Jambhale and the entire team is deeply special.

'The journey has only just begun,' says Aditya Dhar

Aditya Dhar reflected on the responsibility that comes with the recognition, noting that this marks just the start of a bigger journey ahead. "Our first release. Three National Awards. An incredibly proud B62 Studios moment. But with an honour this great comes an even greater responsibility. This is not where the journey ends. It is a reminder to dream bigger, tell stories with greater conviction and create Indian cinema that can travel far beyond our borders," he wrote.

He further shared his vision for the studio's future, stating, "Our aspiration at B62 Studios will always be to take Indian stories, Indian cinema and India's soft power to greater heights, to create films that entertain, inspire, resonate with audiences across the world and make our country proud. This honour gives us even more reason to aim higher, work harder and believe bigger."

Yami Gautam also took to Instagram with a moving note about her win.

She wrote, "You keep showing up every day, working hard, holding on to hope, believing that someday an opportunity will come your way, an opportunity to express yourself as an artist in the way you have always dreamed of. And then, one day, that moment arrives." She added, "Today, as I hold this National Award, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

Not just for the award, but for everything that led me to this moment, the people who believed in me, the lessons, the struggles, the prayers and the journey."The actress also credited her son, Vedavid, for giving her strength during the making of the film, writing, "Vedavid, you gave me strength in the most extraordinary way. You were with me during the making of this film, even before you entered this world, and somehow, you gave me the courage to keep going when I needed it most."She also thanked her husband, Aditya, saying, "And to my husband, Aditya, you inspire me every single day to be the best version of myself.

You have stood beside me through every chapter, celebrated my dreams as your own and believed in me even when I doubted myself." She concluded her note with, "Keep working. Keep believing. Keep showing up with hope in your heart. Because one day, that moment may just be yours. Thank you, National Film Awards, for this honour that I will cherish for a lifetime.
