Gyakie returns with new single 'Your Body (Crazy)'

Translate

Ghanaian singer Gyakie is back with a new single, Your Body (Crazy). The song is the first release under a new distribution partnership between her independent label, FlipTheMusic, and Warner Music Africa.

Produced by AfroLektra, the track is an Afro-fusion and Afro-R&B record about attraction, chemistry and desire. Gyakie pairs a rhythmic backdrop with her sultry, expressive vocals.

Gyakie remains independent. FlipTheMusic keeps her artistic direction and career management, while Warner Music Africa handles distribution. The deal is aimed at widening her reach across key African markets and beyond. Your Body (Crazy) is also the lead single for her third EP, The Dawn.

Since emerging in 2019 with Love Is Pretty, Gyakie has built a cross-border following with a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and Ghanaian highlife. Her breakout Forever, from her debut EP Seed, was certified Platinum in South Africa and got a remix with Omah Lay.
