WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is changing venues in Riyadh, and the November 7 show now comes with security questions attached. Riyadh Season announced the move on October 28, saying existing ticket holders will get full refunds and that new tickets will be released within 48 hours. Reports name Kingdom Arena as the replacement for Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District, which WWE had announced on September 1 as the site. Neither WWE nor Riyadh Season has said what pushed the switch.
Riyadh Season Announces A Venue Change As Crown Jewel Ticket Holders Await New Sales
The original plan put Crown Jewel inside Riyadh Season Stadium. Footage shared online last week appeared to show construction still going at the site, so the update caught plenty of people off guard. Riyadh Season posted it on its official social media account, but that first statement left the new venue unnamed.
“We would like to inform you that ‘WWE Crown Jewel' has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours,” the statement read.
Kingdom Arena came up later in reports, and WWE hasn't put out its own confirmation of the move. The building isn't new to the company though.
Night of Champions was held there on June 27, while the Royal Rumble in January took place at Riyadh Season Stadium.
The date doesn't change. Crown Jewel is still on for November 7, with the advertised US start at 12 p.m. Eastern and 9 a.m. Pacific. Viewers in the United States can watch through ESPN Unlimited, and international audiences can stream it on Netflix.
Earlier reports from September said the date was expected to hold even if the location changed, since WWE is committed to a premium live event that night under its ESPN agreement.
WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Full Match Card
Four matches are on advertised card, and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton is a Last Man Standing match, where pins and submissions don't count and a wrestler loses by not beating the referee's ten count:
- Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn (WWE Men's Crown Jewel Championship)
- Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green (WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship)
- Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing match)
- The Vision's Bron Breakker and Austin Theory vs. Penta and Je'Von Evans (WWE World Tag Team Championships)
Regional Security Concerns Put WWE's Saudi Arabia Plans Under Greater Scrutiny
Tensions across the Middle East have been hitting travel to Saudi Arabia for weeks. The US State Department's travel advisory urges Americans to reconsider travel to the country, and the US Embassy has since issued a fresh security warning.
Reports have described concerns over possible attacks and disruptions in the region, including one attack said to have targeted civilian airports and critical infrastructure in the kingdom.
WWE hasn't said security is behind the move, and Riyadh Season hasn't either.
What has been reported is growing concern inside the company since late September, running from backstage up to WWE Headquarters, along with talent worried about traveling.
Contingency plans were also being discussed before any change got announced.
