Lacuna hopes to take advantage of the global platform that The Miss Globe has to discuss mental health, something that she has also done in her Bb. Pilipinas journey.
“Mental health awareness still is a huge thing that we have to talk about, not just in our country but all over the globe. There’s a lot going on with our mental health right now, especially with social media, and how it affects our minds. And we just really have to keep pushing, for me at least, I really have to keep pushing about prioritizing learning about mental health,” she said.

Lacuna will try to extend the Philippines’ current 11-year placement streak at The Miss Globe, and hopefully score the country’s third win in the pageant’s current iteration, following the victories of Ann Colis in 2015 and Maureen Montagne in 2021. /edv
